Desjardins
is a select breeder of champion standard poodles. We
have been breeding healthy and beautiful poodles with outstanding
temperaments for over 19 years. During that
time, our home-raised American/Canadian Champions have born numerous
progeny champions for enthusiast owners, loving additions for families
and wonderful companions for adults. We raise
black, white, blue and cream puppies that are only full-bred.
Our poodles live in a clean and caring home in Hamburg,
New York. We are not a puppy mill! They
are whelped in my huge kitchen with access to our large fenced in back
yard. Our puppies are well socialized within our
family and receive extra daily attention from my teen age daughter and
her friends.
We do all the recommended testing on all our poodles before
they are bred to ensure the healthiest puppies possible. Tests
include OFA for hips, CERF for eyes, skin punch for Sebaceous Adenitis
and DNA for Von Willebrand’s Disease. Customers
always receive copies of parent’s health papers. All
our poodle puppies are ID micro chipped and leave for their new homes
with Veterinary health certificates, birth statistics, registration
papers and information packets on feeding, training and socializing.
All poodle puppies are placed on a spay/neuter AKC limited
registration contract. Prices typically range from
$1,800 to $2,500 depending on sex and parent’s pedigrees.
Show and breeding require special agreements.
Visiting our home to decide on your new puppy is encouraged, although
all can be facilitated via phone and internet. For
puppies requiring delivery nationally or internationally, we can ship
from airports either out of
Buffalo,
New York
or Toronto
